Fox Sports NFL and MLB broadcaster Joe Buck will follow in Aaron Rodgers‘ footsteps as a guest host of the iconic television show Jeopardy!

According to the New York Post‘s Andrew Marchand, Buck’s time as Jeopardy! host will be during the summer.

Rodgers’ two-week run as guest host recently came to an end, and he’s expressed interest in becoming the full-time host while balancing his career as the Green Bay Packers quarterback.

It’s unclear whether Buck’s run will also be a two-week stint, or if it’ll be the more standard week-long guest host spot.

Buck is accustomed to the big stage as a host. He’s called numerous World Series and Super Bowl games as notable highlights throughout his decorated sportscasting career.

Jeopardy! has had an interesting, eclectic run of guest hosts after the late, great Alex Trebek passed away in November 2020. Trebek’s final episode aired on January 8.
