Based on four full weeks of NFL performances and the upcoming slate of games, here are the top-20 fantasy football rankings for NFL Week 5.

Top 20 fantasy football players: Week 5, the elite five

1. Derrick Henry, running back, Tennessee Titans

There’s not much slowing down Henry who has rushed for a league-high 510 yards in four games. He’s easily the top-ranked fantasy running back heading into Week 5, no bones about it.

2. Ezekiel Elliott, running back, Dallas Cowboys

Elliott seems to have revived himself as a reliable fantasy RB1, having rushed for a total of 238 combined yards and three TDs in his past two games. He should remain playing at a high level against the Giants this Sunday.

3. Alvin Kamara, running back, New Orleans Saints

Kamara is coming off a season-best 120-yard game and heads to his Week 5 matchup as a solid RB1 option facing the Washington Football Team. Perhaps, this is the week he finally scores his first rushing TD.

4. Nick Chubb, running back, Cleveland Browns

Chubb takes his first 100-rushing yard performance from last week to head to Los Angeles for a game against a Chargers defense that has given up 114 rushing yards per contest. Do the math and watch Chubb run!

5. Davante Adams, wide receiver, Green Bay Packers

Adams has been the most-targeted WR in the league (12.7 per game) which keeps him well within the discussion as a WR1 heading to Cincinnati in Week 5.

6. Stefon Diggs, wide receiver, Buffalo Bills

Diggs is finally gaining speed and should be considered a top fantasy receiver heading to Kansas City where Eagles’ lead wideout Devonta Smith just put up 122 yards on seven catches.

7. Aaron Jones, running back, Green Bay Packers

Trust Jones as your fantasy RB1 in Week 5 against a Cincinnati Bengals defense that last allowed Jacksonville’s James Robinson to rush for 78 yards and score a pair of touchdowns. Jones should thrive.

8. Dalvin Cook, running back, Minnesota Vikings

If Cook plays healthy in Week 5, look for him to exploit a Detroit defense that has given up the fourth-most points to running backs on the season. Should Cook be limited, Alexander Mattison is a great play in daily fantasy sports lineups.

9. Saquon Barkley, running back, New York Giants

Barkley has been fully unleashed, making him a top PPR running back for Week 5. He’ll face the Cowboys and should be targeted plenty if the Giants are still missing their top two wideouts this Sunday.

10. Tyreek Hill, wide receiver, Kansas City Chiefs

Hill has been hot and cold thus far, last piling up 186 receiving yards and three touchdowns. But, don’t look for a repeat performance in Week 5. The Chiefs host a Buffalo Bills defense that has given up the fewest WR fantasy points to date.

11. Justin Jefferson, wide receiver, Minnesota Vikings

We hope that Kirk Cousins can play better this week, which will benefit Jefferson facing a Lions defense that he averaged nearly 100 yards against in two games last season.

12. D.J. Moore, wide receiver, Carolina Panthers

Moore has been cruising along as a top-ranked fantasy receiver so far as his chemistry with Sam Darnold flourishes. Hopefully, he can keep the spoils coming facing a Philly defense that has yielded the eighth-fewest fantasy points to opposing wide receivers.

13. Austin Ekeler, running back, Los Angeles Chargers

Ekeler has been a PPR stud and is coming from a season-best 145-yard game which included two touchdowns. While this is awesome, Ekeler will be tested against a Browns defense that has offered the second-fewest RB fantasy points over four games.

14. Najee Harris, running back, Pittsburgh Steelers

Harris will play a tough Denver defense in Week 5. But as a running back who has played in an average of 92.5% of his team’s offensive snaps, sheer volume alone should keep Harris producing RB2 fantasy points on a weekly basis.

15. Jonathan Taylor, running back, Indianapolis Colts

Taylor finally broke the 100-yard rushing mark and stands to find success again in Week 5 playing the Ravens. Baltimore has yielded the eighth-most RB fantasy points over four games.

16. Travis Kelce, tight end, Kansas City Chiefs

It was rare for Kelce to struggle last week against the Philadelphia Eagles. Unlikely to happen again, look for Kelce to rebound against Buffalo in Week 5 and best the 23 yards he recorded in his last stinker.

17. James Robinson, running back, Jacksonville Jaguars

Robinson has finally started to break out as a dependable fantasy running back who has averaged 4.9 yards per carry. The Jags are starting to run the ball more, which should keep Robinson delivering RB2 fantasy points more often than not.

18. CeeDee Lamb, wide receiver, Dallas Cowboys

Lamb has a fantasy-friendly matchup against the Giants in Week 5. Thus far, the Giants have yielded the 12th-most WR fantasy points. Look for a high-scoring game as Dallas continues to hold first place in the NFC East.

19. Terry McLaurin, wide receiver, Washington Football Team

Building on his chemistry with QB Taylor Heinicke, McLaurin has a promising fantasy matchup against the Saints in Week 5. To date, the Saints have allowed the ninth-most WR fantasy points.

20. Cordarrelle Patterson, running back, Atlanta Falcons

It’s time to give credit where it is due and that is to Patterson for his dominating PPR fantasy performances which include five TDs scored in his last three games! In Week 5, look for another high-scoring fantasy game from Patterson with top wideout Calvin Ridley absent. Matt Ryan should keep Patterson plenty busy, in England against the Jets.
