After watching Oklahoma freshman Trae Young firsthand Saturday, Oklahoma State head coach Mike Boynton had the highest praise for the young man. He compared him to the NBA’s most popular man, Stephen Curry.
"Trae Young is the best college basketball player since Steph Curry." -Mike Boynton

Young nearly helped the Sooners take down the Cowboys on Saturday, scoring 48 points, dishing eight assists, hauling in five rebounds and nabbing two steals in the narrow 83-81 overtime win for Oklahoma State. In the end, Young missed a three-point attempt with one second remaining, falling just short of pulling off the big win.
The freshman phenom has been the best player in college basketball this year. He came into Saturday’s game averaging 29.5 points, 4.1 rebounds and 9.8 assists per game. So yeah, that Stephen Curry comparison isn’t too far-fetched.
