Stephen Curry has NBA’s top-selling jersey this season

Not only do the defending NBA champion Golden State Warriors boast the best record in the Association, two-time MVP Stephen Curry is among the favorites to win that award again this season.

Needless to say, it’s been a magnificent run for Curry. And he can now add the NBA’s top-selling jersey to the mix. The NBA Store came out with its numbers on Tuesday, and Curry is ahead of LeBron James for this distinction.

Teammate Kevin Durant comes in third overall, with international sensations Giannis Antetokounmpo and Kristaps Porzingis rounding out the top five.

If this trend were to continue for the remainder of the season, it would represent the third consecutive year that Curry has ranked No. 1 in jersey sales.

And it’s not really that much of a surprise. Despite missing a few handfuls of games this season, Curry is averaging 27.6 points per game and has put up an absurd .609 effective field goal percentage.

He also comes in as our fourth-most popular NBA player right now. All of this equates to a player in Curry who has become a brand around the sports world.
