Miami Dolphins superstar Tyreek Hill has some unreal and historic stats after 6 just games in 2023

Miami Dolphins superstar receiver Tyreek Hill is off to another Pro Bowl-caliber season in 2023, however, the man who is aiming for over 2,000 receiving yards is on pace to do just that and has already put up some historic stats after just six games.

Since joining the team last season, Tyreek Hill has been everything the Miami Dolphins could hope for. He has given young quarterback Tua Tagovailoa an elite-level threat and helped fellow receiver Jaylen Waddle flourish by taking a lot of attention off of him. In 2022 he earned Pro Bowl honors for the seventh straight time and a spot on the All-Pro team for a fourth time.

In the new season, just like his team, Hill has bigger goals. Before the start of the season, the 29-year-old proclaimed that he had his eyes set on reeling in over 2,000 receiving yards. Los Angeles Rams star Cooper Kupp is the only player to come close to getting 2,000 in a season when he just missed out on the legendary number as he finished the 2021 season with 1,947 yards.

While it remains to be seen if Hill can achieve his goal, he has already done some very special things over the first six games of the season. On a Monday morning edition of ESPN’s “Sportscenter,” his impressive numbers thus far were detailed.

After NFL Week 6, Tyreek Hill now has 814 receiving yards, which means he is ahead of pace for 2,000, but that number is also the second most through six games in NFL history. He is only behind Hall-of-Famer Don Hudson who had a bit more in his first six games back in 1942.

Furthermore, Hill’s 168 fantasy points so far this season are also second all-time. They are just behind the legendary season Wes Welker had with the New England Patriots in 2011. Yet, that’s not where his absurd numbers in 2023 end.

The Dolphins star has four touchdowns this year that have gone for 30 yards or more. That is more than 20 other teams in the NFL. And there are actually eight teams in the league this season that don’t even have one touchdown pass of over 30 yards after their first six games.

The former Kansas City Chiefs superstar is doing some remarkable things and he is just getting started in 2023.
