Miami Heat veteran Kyle Lowry seems to be very confident about the team’s chances in Game 5 against the Denver Nuggets, and even let a certain soccer superstar know there will be a Game 6 back in Miami.

When the Miami Heat returned home for the NBA Finals, there was a great deal of confidence surrounding the team. Despite falling short in the opener of their best-of-seven against the Nuggets, they were able to bounce back with a big victory in Game 2.

However, in the two following matchups, they were unable to take advantage of the 1-1 series tie. Despite having a pair of games at home, the team was soundly beaten by superstar Nikola Jokic and the Nuggets and are now down 3-1 and on the brink of seeing their season end next week.

Unsurprisingly, the 108-95 loss in Game 4 on Friday night has led to a lot of frustration in the Miami Heat locker room, and the fallout from yesterday’s clash was documented in a new piece from NBA insider Chris Haynes on Bleacher Report. However, the most notable tidbit from the report was some parting words Kyle Lowry had for soccer star Neymar.

The Paris Saint Germain player and Brazilian soccer great has been a fixture at Miami Heat games during the postseason and has been caught on film showing respect to several of their star players. Well, his relationship was strong enough that he spoke with Lowry before he went home for the evening, and the one-time NBA champion had something interesting to say.

“Before departing the arena, Lowry shook the hand of Brazilian football star Neymar and gave him a parting message. ‘We’ll be back for Game 6,’ Lowry said. ‘We’ll see you then.'”

While that isn’t a classic win guarantee, that is probably as close we will get from the always respect Miami Heat heading into a do-or-die Game 5 on Monday night.
