Tua Tagovailoa joins Alabama captains for coin toss before Citrus Bowl

Alabama quarterback Tua Tagovailoa is making a strong recovery from season-ending hip surgery and was on the field for the coin toss ahead of the Citrus Bowl.

Here’s Tagovailoa walking onto the field with his teammates ahead of their matchup against Michigan Saturday in Orlando.

The electric playmaker won’t be playing Saturday, for obvious reasons, but he’s already walking with just one crutch and appears to be moving well.

At this point, it’s not yet known if Tagovailoa will return to Alabama for another season under Nick Saban, or if he’s got his sights set on the NFL. At the very least, we know he’s soaking up every chance he gets to be with his teammates, despite his devastating season-ending injury.
