The NBA announced on Tuesday that it has fined Golden State Warriors star forward Kevin Durant $25,000 for hurling inappropriate language in the direction of a Dallas Mavericks fan this past weekend.

Needless to say, this isn’t going to sit well with Durant. Sure $25,000 isn’t a whole lot in the grand scheme of things. But it’s more about the optics than anything else.
With his Warriors struggling recently, Durant has found himself mired in a locker room spat with teammate Draymond Green.
It appears that his frustration boiled over in Dallas on Saturday. Whether that continues moving forward remains to be seen. But one thing is clear. All is not great in Warriors-land.
