As the saga surrounding Oakland Raiders star pass rusher Khalil Mack continues, it now appears Mack could be traded after all.
According to Ian Rapoport of NFL Network, the Raiders are gauging the trade market for Mack and listening to offers from interested teams.
With less than 24 hrs to go before the cut-down day deadline, the trade market for #Raiders star pass-rusher Khalil Mack is robust, I’m told. There are enough teams interested where the chances of Mack being traded is very real. Oakland is gauging and listening. Tune in tomorrow.

It was previously reported that Oakland had “no interest” in trading Mack, but there seems to be no end in sight to Mack’s holdout for a new contract. Reports have also leaked about the team’s asking price with Oakland reportedly seeking two first-round picks in exchange for Mack.
Amid rumors that Mack could hold out into the regular season, it doesn’t come as a surprise to see increased trade speculation and Oakland potentially start exploring a trade.
Among the many teams connected to Mack, the Cleveland Browns have been linked to Mack and the Green Bay Packers were favorites to land Mack earlier in the offseason.
If Mack is traded, he will still have to prove he is in enough shape to jump back into game action.
