Fresh off a blowout win over Notre Dame, many expected Miami to lay the hammer down on a lesser Virginia squad Saturday.
Thus far, that has not happened. By virtue of a controversial 33-yard touchdown from Kurt Benkert to Andre Levrone with 30 seconds remaining in the second quarter, Virginia actually holds a 21-14 halftime lead.
The touchdown itself was questionable, at best. Did Levrone maintain possession of the ball  long enough for it to be a catch? You be the judge.
The referees ultimately ruled this a touchdown and just like that, Virginia leads No. 3 Miami 21-14.

As it is, officials in Miami ruled it a score.
This has Miami facing a real uphill climb in the second half as it looks to remain undefeated and stay alive in the CFB playoff race.
