The Dallas Mavericks are already without star guard Luka Doncic. The last thing they needed was fellow star Kristaps Porzingis to get injured.
Taking on the Memphis Grizzlies Wednesday night, it appears that has happened. Porzingis took an elbow to the nose from Josh Jackson and was seen bleeding big time on the court.
That’s just not something we want to see. Speculation is that Porzingis suffered a broken nose.
Acquired from the New York Knicks last season, the Latvian had been upping his game big time recently. He entered Thursday’s action averaging 36.5 points and 12.0 rebounds in his past two games.
Hopefully this is not as serious as it seems.
