WATCH: Potomac Nationals players recreate “Bull Durham” scene

In honor of the 30th anniversary of “Bull Durham” being released, the Potomac Nationals found a unique way to pay tribute. The team recreated the famous mound visit scene from the movie with players and coaches.

In the recreated scene, right-handed pitcher James Bourque is visited by Robert Wuhl, who played pitching coach Larry Hockett in the original movie.

The organization did an excellent job matching the scene and script, with some additional personality from the coaches and players involved.

Potomac, the High-A affiliate of the Washington Nationals, will host Bull Durham Night on June 23 when they face the Wilmington Blue Rocks at Northwest Federal Field at Pftizner Stadium
