Celebrations after a big play can be one of the best parts of football. Unfortunately for Miami Hurricanes defensive back Budda Bolden, his celebration ended in a gruesome injury.
Miami’s sophomore safety made a huge play in the team’s rivalry game against Florida State. Bolden intercepted Seminoles quarterback Alex Hornibrook and immediately went to celebrate with his teammate.
Unfortunately, his teammate jumped into the air with a little too much force and Bolden’s leg bent awkwardly underneath him as he fell to the ground.
Bolden needed to be helped off the field by trainers and was unable to put any weight on the leg.
Now without one of its top defensive players, Miami could quickly find itself in danger of blowing the lead against Florida State.
