Miami head coach Mark Richt is usually a pretty measured coach compared to the likes of Jim Harbaugh and Dana Holgorsen. But he reached their level of demonstrably angry on Saturday towards the end of the second quarter in the Orange Bowl against Wisconsin.
Richt lost his cool in a big way, yelling at the officials and even making some contact.

The head coach was charged with a 15-yard penalty, and he’s lucky he did not get ejected. On the next play Wisconsin scored its third touchdown of the game to go up 24-14, so the penalty definitely hurt the Hurricanes.
At the half, Richt was asked what got him so heated. He replied, “If you watch the tape, you will see.”
And then he ran off the field.
