We’ve known that Cleveland Browns star pass rusher Myles Garrett is a physical freak since long before he entered the NFL. But it’s still fun to get a reminder every once in a while about just what type of crazy athleticism and strength he possesses.
That’s exactly what we got on Tuesday when Garrett shared a shocking video from his workout.
Myles Garrett deadlifts 655 pounds
On his Instagram Live account, Garrett shared a short video of himself deadlifting a stunning 655 pounds like it was no big deal. Here’s the video, courtesy of Jake Trotter, who covers the Browns for ESPN:
No biggie.
Sorry, I’m lying. That’s incredible.
Though, if you’re wondering about how that lift compares to the best in the world, here’s something to consider: Garrett was nearly doubled up by Hafthor Bjornsson recently when he broke the world record by deadlifting 1,104 pounds.
But can Bjornsson get to NFL quarterbacks like Garrett does? Doubtful.
