Washington Redskins running back Adrian Peterson came into Monday’s game with revenge on his mind and he took it out all in one stiff arm that destroyed a New Orleans Saints defender.
Peterson came out of the backfield in the second quarter and caught a short pass from Alex Smith then took off. When he saw linebacker Alex Anzalone in his path, AD took out his frustration on the linebacker and eviscerated him with a stiff arm.

It seems pretty clear Peterson wanted to make a statement against his former team. Unfortunately for Anzalone, that revenge was taken out on him with a soul-crushing stiff arm on national television. He might as well enjoy a drink or two down on Bourbon street after the game.
Peterson may not be quite as good as he was in his prime, but the 33-year-old clearly has a few tricks in his pocket to humiliate defenders.
