With just a few weeks left until the 2014 NFL draft takes place, let the pre-draft bashing begin. First up on the clock is Jadeveon Clowney, the defensive end out of South Carolina, who an anonymous NFL staff person has reportedly called, “spoiled and lazy.”
CBS Sports reports:
“He’s spoiled, and he’s lazy,” an NFC personnel man told NJ.com. “He’s never worked hard a day in his life, now all of a sudden you’re going to give him a bunch of money and expect him to work hard. I don’t see it.”

This is likely some ploy or strategic move probably by the team who wants to draft Clowney first. Let’s take the potential No. 1 overall draft pick and start layering dark clouds of doubt over him to knock him down a few notches on the draft chart.
Or perhaps in another life, Clowney had wronged Mr. Anonymous, like cutting him off while driving or leaving a bad tip. Nevertheless, this has left people to a myriad of opinions.
@ryan5ive @BCarroll138 He yawns after every sack and takes a nap after every tackle for loss. So bored Clowney, so lazy.

One NFC exec on Clowney "Lazy" "Spoiled". I guarantee you it's Thomas Dimitroff!

While these words are a bit harsh, it really sounds more like this person is describing an overindulged princess at her birthday party to me.
