The entry list for the ARCA Racing Series event at Daytona International Speedway is one of the largest and most robust in certainly well over a decade.
First, there are 50 teams set to participate with only 40 qualifying their way into the 80-lap season opener on February 17 at the World Center of Racing. That 40 is comprised of 32 on time and eight provisionals based on owner points from the previous season.
This race is pretty star studded too.
Veteran IndyCar contender Marco Andretti is starting his full-time pursuit of a Stock Car career in 2024 in this race driving a No. 17 for Bruce Cook. Three-time Australian Supercars champion, and inaugural Chicago Street Course winner, Shane Van Gisbergen will drive the No. 28 for Pinnacle Racing Group.
Three-time NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour winner Justin Bonsignore will race the No. 30 for Rette Jones Racing.
Driving full-time for Young’s Motorsports in the NASCAR Xfinity Series this season will be Leland Honeyman, who will begin his campaign with the team in its ARCA car in the hours leading up to the Xfinity Series race.
Amongst the ARCA full-time championship chasers is Lavar Scott in the Rev Racing No. 6, Kris Wright in the Venturini No. 15 alongside his full-time teammates Amber Balcaen and Toni Breidinger in the No. 22 and No. 25.
Jake Finch, the son of longtime team owner James Finch, is in the Venturini No. 20 and the team is also fielding the No. 55 for Gus Dean.
The race will air at 1:30 on Saturday of Daytona 500 weekend with live coverage on FS1. The complete entry list can be found below.
