Texans sign center Nick Martin to three-year, $33 million contract extension

The Houston Texans have locked up center Nick Martin for the foreseeable future with a three-year contract extension worth $33 million, including $18.35 million guaranteed, per Field Yates of ESPN.

Martin was a second-round pick out of Notre Dame during the 2016 NFL Draft. He missed his entire rookie season with an ankle injury but has appeared in and started 31 games for the Texans since the start of the 2017 season.
