Team Spirit swept the best-of-five grand final series over FaZe Clan to win the Intel Extreme Masters Katowice 2024 event on Sunday in Poland.

Team Spirit had beaten FaZe Clan 2-0 in a best-of-three in the Group A upper-bracket final when both teams qualified for the tournament’s playoffs.

It was more of the same on Sunday, with Team Spirit winning 13-9 on Nuke, 13-11 on Mirage and 13-3 on Overpass for the sweep.

Russian Danil “donk” Kryshkovets led Team Spirit with match highs of 82 kills and a plus-42 kills-to-deaths ratio. Teammate Dmitry “sh1ro” Sokolov of Russia posted 53 kills and a plus-23 K-D.

For FaZe Clan, Robin “ropz” Kool of Estonia was the only member of the team in the positive, notching a plus-6 differential with his 50 kills.

Twenty-four teams began the tournament, competing for shares of the first $1 million prize pool in Europe since Counter-Strike 2 launched in September. Sixteen advanced to the group stage, which featured two double-elimination groups of eight. Six teams, the top three from each group, reached the playoffs. All matches were best-of-three until Sunday’s best-of-five grand final.
