As the Pittsburgh Steelers head into the playoffs, offensive coordinator Todd Haley is dealing with a hip injury. According to the NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport, Haley was shoved to the ground in a Pittsburgh bar on New Year’s Eve, injuring his hip in the process.

As of now, there is no word on if Haley was in an altercation with someone, or if it was more of an inadvertent shove in a crowded bar on New Year’s Eve. That will be something to monitor in the coming days and weeks.
Per Tom Pelissero, Steelers Director of Communications Burt Lauten also released a statement, noting that Haley is expected to be a part of the team’s preparation for the divisional round.

The news certainly isn’t good for Pittsburgh, but it could be worse.
The Steelers will know their divisional round opponent after Wild Card Weekend. If the Jacksonville Jaguars defeat the Buffalo Bills on Sunday, Ben Roethlisberger will get his wish with a chance to avenge an ugly regular season loss to the Jags. If the Bills win, Pittsburgh will host the winner of Saturday’s game between the Tennessee Titans and Kansas City Chiefs, both teams that the Steelers beat during the season.
