Stanford star Reid Travis reportedly likely transferring to Kentucky

Reid Travis, a First-Team All Pac 12 player for the Stanford Cardinal last season, has withdrawn his name from the 2018 NBA Draft.

It was a move that many expected. However, Gary Parrish of CBS Sports is now reporting that Travis has decided to leave the Stanford basketball program and will likely transfer to Kentucky.

A 6-foot-8 forward, Travis averaged 19.5 points and 8.7 rebounds per game last season. He was considered a potential late first-round pick during the pre-draft process.

As a graduate transfer, Travis will not have to sit out next season. If he does indeed join the Wildcats program, we can expect the forward to start for a team with championship aspirations.
