The Tampa Bay Buccaneers have reportedly re-signed quarterback Ryan Fitzpatrick, securing Jameis Winston’s backup for another season.
Confirmed #Bucs have agreed to terms with QB Ryan Fitzpatrick

A reliable backup who has bounced around the league between seven teams, Fitzpatrick has been playing since 2005. It makes sense that the Bucs decided to stick with Fitz rather than attempting to sign another guy not familiar with the team’s offense.
The 35-year-old quarterback was called to duty to start for Winston in three games last season where he produced a 2-1 record. The hope would be in 2018 that Winston remains completely healthy and that the Bucs win more than the five games they did in 2017.
