Richard Sherman Said Tom Brady is “Scared, His Heart’s Gone”

Seattle Seahawks’ cornerback Richard Sherman apparently thought his team had the Super Bowl win in the bag as they entered into the fourth quarter with a 10-point lead.

Sherman, who was wired during the game, had some things to say about Tom Brady to his teammates before the entire scene changed in front of his eyes (via NFL.com).

(Brady) is scared, his heart’s gone. It’s almost gone.

The wired segment will air on Inside the NFL on NFL Network Wednesday at 9:00 p.m. EST.

Who could blame Sherman for feeling confident at this point in the game? According to Super Bowl history, teams leading by 10 points or more entering the fourth quarter of the game were 29-0. The two touchdowns the Patriots scored in the fourth quarter of Super Bowl XLIX put that record to rest.

Among other highlights in the wired segment were comments made by Pete Carroll, Russell Wilson and Tom Brady during the last seconds of the game. If you’re a Patriots’ fan you’ll likely enjoy it. But if you’re a Seahawks’ fan, it might still be too raw.
