This is all of a sudden turning into the craziest trade deadline in recent baseball history. According to various reports, the Tampa Bay Rays are going to trade staff ace David Price prior to the deadline at 4 PM ET Thursday afternoon.
Been told #Rays are definitely moving Price

Sherman goes on to say that the Rays are getting enough back to look more towards the long term without Price than the short term with him.
So #Rays decide getting enough back to think big picture rather than go for it with Price this year

ESPN’s Jim Bowden is also indicating that the Seattle Mariners and Los Angeles Dodgers are the front-runners for Price at this point.

Just imagine Price teaming up with either Felix Hernandez or Clayton Kershaw. Either scenario would make for one mighty rotation and could potentially challenge the Oakland Athletics as the best in baseball.
We will have updates on the MLB trade deadline throughout the day.
