Report: Tyreek Hill lands 3-year, $54 million contract extension

The Kansas City Chiefs and wide receiver Tyreek Hill have reportedly agreed to terms on a three-year, $54 million contract extension.

Ian Rapoport of NFL Media reported this news Friday morning, noting this contract makes Hill one of the highest-paid receivers in the NFL.

The deal works out to $18 million per year on average.

Hill is one of the most dangerous receivers in the league, so from an on-field perspective this contract extension is in no way a surprise.

Last year, his first with Patrick Mahomes under center, Hill caught 87 passes for 1,479 yards and 12 touchdowns.
