Dequan Finn announced on Sunday that he was transferring to Baylor from Toledo, making him the next of several quarterbacks who have made a move. There are still some good ones out there in the transfer portal.
Finn led Toledo to an 11-2 record and the MAC championship with 2,657 yards passing and 22 touchdowns and another 563 yards rushing and seven touchdowns.
Why Baylor needed a quarterback

Baylor needed a quarterback after Blake Shapen transferred from the Bears to Mississippi State.
Shapen threw for 2,188 yards and 13 touchdowns with Baylor, and was injured for almost half of the 2023 season. He should step right in at Mississippi State.
Mississippi State was in need of a QB because …

Mississippi State was down a quarterback because Will Rogers left the Bulldogs for Washington.
Rogers is familiar with the Northwest because Washington State coach Mike Leach had tried to recruit him. As fate would have it, Mississippi State hired Leach right after Rogers had enrolled.
In Leach’s offense, Rogers excelled. So transferring to a pass-oriented, wide-open offense with the Huskies could be good for him, if he’s the man to replace Michael Penix.
