As expected, Ohio State Buckeyes star running back J.K. Dobbins will forego his senior season and is taking his talents to the 2020 NFL Draft.
Dobbins announced his decision on social media with a thoughtful thank-you to the university, his teammates, along with Buckeyes fans, team trainers and his coaches.
The junior eclipsed the 2,000-yard mark with a phenomenal performance during Ohio State’s Fiesta Bowl loss to the Clemson Tigers. In three seasons with the Buckeyes, Dobbins racked up 5,104 yards and 43 touchdowns from scrimmage.
Expected to be an early selection, Dobbins could even hear his name called near the end of Round 1 come April.
