Former NFL running back and infamous American criminal O.J. Simpson has been in the news a whole lot recently.
Two different television series, the most recent being ESPN’s tremendous 30 for 30 documentary, have brought back up Simpson’s on-field exploits in both college and the NFL as well as the Trial of the Century, in which he was acquitted of two first-degree murder charges.
The backdrop of this is Simpson’s past relationship with the Kardashian family, father Robert to be specific.
Not only did the children in that family know Simpson growing up, there’s been some rumors flying around that the imprisoned Hall of Famer is Khloe’s father.
Now comes this from KIRO 7 in Seattle suggesting that Simpson has agreed to take a paternity test to decide whether he really is the father.
Per the report.
“O.J. Simpson will take a paternity test to see if Khloe Kardashian is is daughter, but only if she visits him in prison,” the report read. “The question of Kardashian’s paternity came up again when “The Man Who Saved O.J. Simpson,” a documentary about her father, the late Robert Kardashian aired on Reelz. Robert Kardashian and Kris Jenner divorced in 1991 and Jenner has admitted to being unfaithful in her marriage to Kardashian. The couple was also close friends with Simpson and his late ex-wife, Nicole Brown Simpson.”
Simpson is currently serving a 33-year sentence at Lovelock Correctional Center in Nevada stemming from a 2008 conviction on armed robbery and kidnapping charges.
As it relates to Khloe, she has a history of openly wondering who her father is, none more so than during airings of the hit reality show “Keeping Up with the Kardashians.”
If this were to come to fruition and it’s found out that Simpson is actually her father, the Internet might break (almost literally).
When you combine someone that played a starring role in one of the most infamous court cases in American history with a family as high profile as the Kardashians, things will hit the fan. When you take into account a possible paternity test, that’s magnified even further.
