Corey Coleman was recently traded by the Cleveland Browns to the Buffalo Bills. On Tuesday, he passed his physical, which completed the trade.
ESPN’s Adam Schefter reported on this development, though he added a strange note, saying Coleman had pondered his options before reporting to Buffalo.
Many wondered what the heck that meant to begin with. But then Schefter tweeted out the following message, which really got people wondering what was going on.
Multiple people, including Coleman, say this is not true, and he did not balk about going to Buffalo. He found out Sunday night and drove to Rochchester at 7 am Monday. Transaction was submitted to NFL at 1 pm. Coleman’s a Bill. https://t.co/rUhHjHIU22

It’s pretty rare that a reporter contradicts their initial report like this. Twitter took note.
Well, this takes ESPN-on-ESPN crime to a new level. https://t.co/I06lMtImL7

Self reporting yourself about your own fake news. Good first step to recovery…
