New Orleans Saints looking for a quarterback?

Saints general manager Sean Payton might say one thing publicly, but we’re sure the organization is looking at the veteran quarterback market following the season-ending torn ACL Jameis Winston suffered in Week 8. Right now, New Orleans’ quarterback room includes Taysom Hill, Trevor Siemian and rookie mid-round pick Ian Book.

It’s all about who might be available. Perhaps, that includes Denver Broncos starter Teddy Bridgewater. Former Super Bowl MVP Nick Foles of the Chicago Bears has been on the market, too.

Evan Engram could be on the move from the New York Giants?

ESPN’s Jeremy Fowler noted that multiple teams have reached out to the Giants about the athletic tight end and former first-round pick. As of right now, the belief is that offers include a mid-to-late round pick with Engram set to hit free agency.

It has been an up-and-down career for the tight end in Jersey. Engram, 27, did earn Pro Bowl honors in 2020 after registering 63 receptions for 654 yards.

N’Keal Harry might still be on the move

Preseason reports of this former first-round pick being traded from the New England Patriots gave in to him being on short-term IR to open the regular year. Now after eight games, they are seemingly picking up again.

Harry, 23, has recorded all of five receptions for 77 yards in five games this season. He’s not a part of the Pats’ regular receiver rotation. Perhaps, another team takes a chance on him.

Denver Broncos could be in full-scale sell-off mode

Fresh off trading Von Miller, there’s a chance that the 4-4 Broncos might go into full-scale fire sale mode. The likes of running back Melvin Gordon and cornerback Kyle Fuller could potentially be had.

Depending on his market, there’s also a possibility that starting quarterback Teddy Bridgewater could be headed elsewhere. Denver’s brass knows full well that it is not a legit contender. It’s now time for a complete rebuild under new general manager George Paton.

NFL trade rumors continue to surround Deshaun Watson

With mere hours to go before the deadline, a recent report suggests that it’s a 50-50 chance Deshaun Watson will be dealt by the Houston Texans. the 2020 NFL passing yards leader has sat out the first eight games of the season as he faces allegations in civil court from 22 women of sexual misconduct.

Most recently, rumors have linked Watson to the Miami Dolphins. In fact, it seemed like a deal was close late last month before things broke down. If Watson is moved, it will shake up the foundation of the NFL moving forward. It’s something to keep an eye on with the trade deadline approaching.

Los Angeles Rams steal Von Miller

In one of the most-surprising in-season moves of the modern era, the Denver Broncos dealt this former Super Bowl MVP to the Los Angeles Rams one day before the NFL trade deadline. In return, Denver picked up a second and third-round pick in the 2022 draft.

Miller now joins the 7-1 Rams and boosts their aspirations for a title. He’ll team up with Aaron Donald to form one of the better pass-rush duos in the league. It was bittersweet for the future Hall of Famer after spending his first decade in the NFL with Denver.

Multiple teams interested in Marlon Mack

Earlier in the season, reports suggested that the Indianapolis Colts were willing to work with Mack on a potential trade after he fell behind Jonathan Taylor and Nyheim Hines on the depth chart. We’re now hearing more on the NFL trade rumors front regarding a potential landing spot.

According to NFL insider Josina Anderson, the Kansas City Chiefs, Carolina Panthers, San Francisco 49ers and New Orleans Saints have all shown preliminary interest in the veteran. Mack, 25, tallied 2,184 total yards and 18 touchdowns in 2018 and 2019 before missing all but one game a season ago with a torn Achilles.
