Former Las Vegas Raiders edge rusher Chandler Jones arrested again

Typically, Chandler Jones would be preparing for Sunday’s matchup with the Chicago Bears. But the two-time All-Pro edge rusher made it very clear that he no longer wants to be a part of the Las Vegas Raiders organization. On September 30, Jones got his wish when the Raiders released him from his contract, making the 33-year-old a free agent.

Jones has remained in the news since, but not for making plays on the gridiron.

Instead, Jones has been arrested twice. The first was for violating a domestic violence temporary protection order shortly before his release from the Raiders back in September.

Then, on Tuesday, Jones was arrested again, for the very same reason as before.

Las Vegas police responded to the call at roughly 1:15 p.m. on Tuesday.

Jones was previously released after posting a $15,000 bail bond. Unlike last time, there are no specific details regarding his latest arrest, but Sportsnaut will stay tuned to the situation.

Jones has played 11 NFL seasons, six with the Arizona Cardinals, four with the New England Patriots, where he won a Super Bowl, and one with the Raiders.
