WATCH: Jeshaun Jones scores three TDs, three different ways, on his first three career touches

Maryland true freshman Jeshaun Jones has gotten his college football career kicked off about as spectacularly as any player in the history of the game.

The young playmaker scored touchdowns the first three times he touched the ball Saturday, and he scored them in three different ways.

First, Jones rushed for a 28-yard touchdown.

Then, Jones caught a 65-yard touchdown.

Capping off his magnificent first half, Jones then threw a 20-yard touchdown pass on a trick play.

It really doesn’t get any better than that. And on top of it all, Maryland is up, 24-14, in the first half against Texas, which it stunned last year in the first weekend of action as well.

Jones was a three-star recruit out of Florida and signed with Maryland in May.
