The Jacksonville Jaguars were the winners of the Nick Foles sweepstakes. He was the top free agent quarterback prospect heading into 2019, and now that the start of the new year is official, Foles will sign his four-year, $88 million contract.

It was not surprising at all for the Jaguars to move on from quarterback Blake Bortles after he failed to evolve into an elite signal caller. He’s going to be released soon enough in an official capacity.
Now, it is all about what Foles can do for the Jags moving ahead. He is coming from a successful run in Philly where he earned Super Bowl LII MVP honors and how has the task of turning around a Jaguars franchise that took enormous steps backward in 2018.
