Earlier this month, Seattle Seahawks Michael Christine attended a prom with a Texas high school fan. Quickly becoming a popular trend. Now it’s Giants punter Steve Weatherford’s turn. A big Giants fan, high School student, Lauren Delbert tweeted out this creative prom invitation to Weatherford, for which he accepted.

According to Nydailynews.com, Weatherford shared this response.
“I’m going to prom with @LaurenDelbert So what if I’m older than some of the teachers! LOL,” Weatherford tweeted.
Delbert informed Weatherford that he would be third-wheeling with her and her boyfriend, also named Steve. But it shouldn’t be too big of a deal since Delbert says her boyfriend is a big Giants fan.

Weatherford did say he would spring for a limo, and did confirm that Delbert’s boyfriend would also be attending, joking that he might even let the boyfriend ride along in the limo too.
Sounding overly confident in my opinion, he also bragged a bit about his fancy dance moves he plans to show off.
Weatherford, who is also known for taking an abundance of shirtless selfies, hopefully will remain fully-clothed in his tuxedo for the evening.
