Embattled Los Angeles Clippers owner Donald Sterling has one foot already on its way out of the organization. But it appears that head coach Doc Rivers has thought about what the future will bring for him if Sterling somehow retains his ownership stake in the Clippers.

However unlikely the possibility is that Sterling remains the Clippers CEO after his racist remarks this past spring, it’s evident what those within the Clippers organization feel about his potential presence on the team.
Rivers was promoted to a position within the front office earlier this offseason and remains the face of one the best young franchises in the NBA.
Let’s all hope that this situation doesn’t expand to the point where Rivers will have to choose between remaining with the Clippers under the umbrella of a perceived racist and leaving his players to fend for themselves.
