Green Bay Packers linebacker Clay Matthews not only acts in those cheesy Fathead commercials, he actually had a cameo role in the movie Pitch Perfect 2. Matthews spoke to E! News about preparing for his role in the movie.
“We had to surely channel our inner J.Lo and Beyoncé to make those moves happen.”
Here’s a small snippet of Matthews in action. For those who saw the entire scene in the movie, we’ll let the viewers be judges as to whether Matthews nailed his scenes or not.
Viewer opinions aside, Matthews seemed to be confident that they performed well:
“We really had to just jump into it. We had to figure how to sing and dance with the choreography, but at the end of the day you see a bunch of big guys just shuffling around and shaking their butt and having a good time.”
Matthews gang of singers consisted of teammates T.J. Lang, Don Barclay, Josh Sitton, David Bakhtiari and Jordan Rodgers. While Matthews channeled his inner J.Lo and Beyonce—shaking his stuff and flexing his guns—it was reported that he was actually nervous about filming his scenes.
