Note to Buffalo Bills reporters: Keep your head on a swivel when Cardale Jones is behind center.
Based on the accounts of a couple Bills reporters, the franchise can’t sign Tyrod Taylor to a long-term extension fast enough (they’re trying).
Rookie quarterback Jones let loose with a pass so errant that it ended up knocking a phone out of someone’s hand 20 yards beyond the sideline.
Watching #Bills practice can be dangerous. Errant Jones pass hit reporter (not me) 20 yds beyond sidelines & knocked phone out of his hands.

Cardale Jones just threw a pass so far off target it knocked the phone out of the hand of a reporter 40 feet behind the sideline.

To be fair, not all Jones’ passes are horrific monstrosities.

Still, the fact that he unleashed such an abominable toss shows just how raw Jones’ talent is. The rookie out of Ohio State wasn’t terribly accurate for the Buckeyes, completing just 61.7 percent of his passes, which isn’t great at the collegiate level.
A player who could potentially develop into a star at some point, it sure seems like Jones is a long ways away at this point.
