The Cleveland Browns were attempting to drive for the lead in the fourth quarter of Sunday night’s game against the Los Angeles Rams.
That’s when head coach and play caller Freddie Kitchens tried to get too cute. On fourth-and-nine from the Rams 40, he decided to call a draw to running back Nick Chubb out the shotgun.
It gained a mere two yards, leading to the Rams taking over with great field position.
Needless to say, Kitchens and Co. were blasted for the inane play call.
