Brooklyn Nets’ Mikal Bridges not happy with minutes vs. Milwaukee Bucks

Do NBA players need to rest on the second game of a back-to-back? Some do. Mikal Bridges does not.

Or at least that’s what he told reporters the day after the Brooklyn Nets lost to the Milwaukee Bucks 144-122 Wednesday night.

In a report from the New York Post, Bridges said he never needs to rest and didn’t like how he was used in the game against the Bucks. He played 40 minutes against the Detroit Pistons on Tuesday.

“Didn’t like the choice and whatever that was. But it’s whatever. Definitely was not a fan.” Bridges said to the Post.

Bridges started at small forward and played all of the first quarter.

He was replaced to start the second and never came back into the game.

Brooklyn was playing its third game in four nights and had gone on a five-game road trip before that. The team had said before the game that a few players would sit out, Bridges wasn’t one of them.

Nets coach Jacque Vaughn told the team before the game that he didn’t want to risk them getting injured.
