49ers and Ravens to Hold Open Practice in August

The San Francisco 49ers and Baltimore Ravens will hold an open practice at Baltimore’s M&T Bank Stadium next month. The two former Super Bowl rivals previously agreed to practice together for part of training camp both this season and in 2015.

Baltimore made the announcement on its official Twitter feed.

Outside of playing against one another in the Super Bowl two years ago, these two teams really seem to be tied at the hip with John Harbaugh coaching the Ravens and his brother, Jim, coaching the 49ers.

They also worked out a rather interesting trade last offseason. Baltimore sent its leading receiver Anquan Boldin to the 49ers for a lowly sixth-round pick. Boldin proceeded to rack up over 1,000 receiving yards for the 49ers in 2013.

This should be a very interesting public practice between two of the top franchises in the National Football League.
