A unique basketball card featuring LeBron James and Michael Jordan has been sold for a record price of $900,000 at auction this week, TMZ Sports reports.
The card, a 2003-2004 Upper Deck “Exquisite Collection” card, includes NBA patches from game-worn James and Jordan jerseys, per TMZ Sports, and was sold privately by Ken Goldin of Goldin Auctions this week.
The card is a one-of-a-kind, being the only one made like it ever.
The previous record for most expensive basketball card sold was just over $500 million when a 1969-70 Lew Alcindor card was sold back in 2016, per TMZ Sports.
