WATCH: Baylor appears to have allowed Charlie Brewer to play with a concussion

Baylor Bears quarterback Charlie Brewer may have been allowed to play with a concussion during Saturday’s Big 12 Championship Game.

Kevin Boilard of 247 Sports broke down the sequence of events that appear to show Baylor let Brewer play after he was apparently concussed.

The damning aspect of this is that Brewer was visibly wobbly after having his helmet bounce off the turf. And that the “evaluation” done by Baylor on the sideline afterward was so hastily and poorly done — allowing him to get back onto the field.

The good news is that, after Brewer did play, the refs sent him off the field and he went into the locker room for a legitimate evaluation.
