Philadelphia Eagles wide receiver Alshon Jeffery suffered a non-contact lower-body injury and was carted off during the team’s Monday Night Football game against the New York Giants.
Every injury is bad. This one is brutal for the Eagles, who dressed just three receivers for this game Monday night.
Then, this happened.
Jeffery has been beset by an ankle injury this year, but the way he pulled up lame on that play indicates this is something else altogether.
A cart took Jeffery back into the locker room as the game was midway through the second quarter, the Giants leading 7-0 after Eli Manning threw his first touchdown since Week 2.
