The Detroit Lions came into Sunday’s game knowing they could attack the New York Giants defense deep down the field. Big plays are made even easier when they execute the type of gorgeous trick play touchdown we saw in Week 8.
After Matthew Stafford flipped the ball to running back J.D. McKissic, New York’s defense followed him to the right side. That’s when McKissic threw the ball back to Stafford and Detroit’s quarterback unleashed a strike to receiver Kenny Golladay for the 41-yard score.
Golladay already showed off his size with an outstanding touchdown catch inside the red zone. So, Detroit took a chance to showcase his speed and the team’s creativity on offense with this beautiful play.
