Alabama Crimson Tide receiver Jaylen Waddle has been making electrifying plays on special teams this season. Now the sophomore is weaving his way to touchdowns on offense.
Quarterback Tua Tagovailoa needed a playmaker on third down and quickly went to Waddle. After slipping past two tackles in the backfield, Waddle navigated past through the defense and sped into the end zone for the first score of the game.
It’s been a relatively quiet year for Waddle as a receiver with the Crimson Tide often focusing on Henry Ruggs III and Jerry Jeudy. It appears they will be mixing it up this week to take advantage of Waddle’s outstanding elusiveness and speed.
It’s just further proof that this offense is virtually unstoppable for opposing defenses with all of these explosive weapons to work with.
