Daniels and the Sun Devils’ offense took over trailing 34-31 with two minutes left in the fourth quarter. After leading an efficient drive down the field, Daniels capped it off by running it in himself and spinning into the end zone for the go-ahead score.
Daniels’ go-ahead score with 34 seconds left won the game and helped push the Sun Devils to 5-1 on the season. The freshman threw for 363 yards with four total touchdowns in an outstanding performance and an evident love for the big moments.
