Josh Rosen was going to start the rest of the season for the Miami Dolphins. That is, he was going to start the rest of the year until Sunday’s game at home against the Washington Redskins.
Rosen was benched early in the fourth quarter in favor of veteran Ryan Fitzpatrick.
The second-year quarterback had a miserable afternoon against Washington. He left the game down 17-3 having passed for just 85 yards on 15-of-25 passing with no touchdowns and zero interceptions.
At this point, the Dolphins have no answer at quarterback, mainly because they have no answer up front on the offensive line. Both Rosen and Fitzpatrick have been awful all year long. That’s not likely to change any time soon.
