While we’re still in spring training, the fastball of Jordan Hicks is in midseason form.
The St. Louis Cardinals reliever delivers a 103-mph fastball in Tuesday’s game with the Phildelphia Phillies. But it wasn’t just the velocity. The ball also had serious movement, working its way towards the right-handed batter’s box.

If that’s the fastball Hicks is going to be throwing during the regular season, all we can do is wish his opponents good luck.
Not many are going to square that pitch up. Heck, not many are even going to get a bat on the ball.
