The Milwaukee Bucks were on the verge of closing out the Los Angeles Clippers Thursday night for yet another win for the NBA’s best team.
That’s not the story here. Milwaukee has won a lot this season. Instead, it’s the lower-leg injury star and MVP candidate Giannis Antetokounmpo suffered late in said game that has us all concerned.
After scoring against the Clippers midway through the final stanza, Giannis stepped on the foot of Los Angeles guard Garrett Temple.
As you can tell, the Greek Freak was limping noticeably. He remained on the Bucks’ bench for the remainder of the affair but did not return to the court. Though, Giannis was apparently ready to sub back in before the Bucks hit a dagger three.
This is obviously a scary situation for the Bucks and their fans. Giannis has been nothing short of extraordinary this season.
Let’s all hope there’s good news to come after the game.
